It was nearly a "should've gone to specsavers..." moment this afternoon after Mr T had buzzed me into his entrance lobby, where I then discovered the lift wasn't working - fortunately someone came out of the emergency staircase door not long after and I took the stairs. After I'd gathered my breath, we had a good catch up on last Saturday's Grand National..., and a lengthy discussion about how high street banking isn't what it used to be, and I was then up and out with the list in hand and trolley in tow.

Both Tesco's and Lidl seemed quiet - clearly the sunshine has reprioritised people's Friday afternoons, so I was soon back with everything ticked off - as Mr T sorted out another bunch of carrots for me to improve my eyesight with, we discussed the challenge of last week's crossword, sandwich fillings, and how to best roast potatoes.
