A second shopping trip for this beneficiary who needs very precise groceries - it’s great to have the time to hunt down exact matches to the list!

The lovely manager at Iceland allowed me to buy 40 eggs instead of the usual 10 limit. Three dozen plus some spares with no egg and spoon races in prospect.

Who knew that ASDA only stock Schwarz(-enegger) cooking sachets and Tesco special in (Olivia) Colman’s?

And if you want Warburton’s loaves, ASDA is the place to be but for Kingsmill it’s Tesco.

Sadly I couldn’t get the 12 1.5 litres bottles of Volvic (Nestle Pure, Evian, Highland Spring and Tesco own brand don’t taste the same) so saved on the weight training, but will be keeping my eyes open for stockists.

It’s a pleasure to be able to help bring a little joy to those for whom home cooking is one of the few activities they can continue to enjoy.
