At parkrun on Saturday, we noticed that some of the bright volunteer vests were in a shocking state, with split seams and rips in the velcro, so Gwyn and Tracey rose to the challenge to give them an overhaul.

Tracey coraled up the vests, then set to work with steel needle and glowing pink thread, making sure that the stitching was solid, and that the pale reflective stripes were firmly attached.

Lusty gallant Gwyn then gave them a deep clean in the washing machine, and hung them out in the hot, bright sunlight to dry. Worked like a charm.

What a super job!
