A multitude of fun was had tonight, first up the Golden Trainer 2021.
A seemingly simple task of predicting how fast you can run 1km in and then trying to do it without using your watch. This was the 4th running of the competition, with more accuracy this year and everyone running closer to their time. You can see how they got on in the gallery... Our winner was Jo who was 3 seconds out! Congratulations Jo!

2022.... Could your name be here?
We did a couple of photos to celebrate "I am Team GB" week and a jumping pic as we can't do the human pyramid yet. Great synchronisation, we'll just have to wait for it's inclusion in the Olympics!
After the run, half the group went to help Jen with leaflet distribution for the Fratton Big Local picnic on Sunday (you can volunteer to help out with that here). The other half of the group (including this year's and last year's Golden Trainer champions!) stayed in the rec to pick the litter.
We think the park users had been told that we were coming as there was plenty of rubbish to pick up. All the usual finds plus a red dress.... which does raise a lot of questions!
4 bags of rubbish and recycling were filled in the time it took us to leaflet 4 roads in Fratton... Perfect timing!
