This week 13 blooming brilliant GoodGym-ers ran 1.25km to help the Friend's of Tottenham Green prepare for an upcoming gardening award. While this was going on, two more runners ran a mission nearby.

We started with a quick warm up on the grass, including different mobility drills and heart raisers, to get our bodies ready for the run ahead.

We then set off on our lap back to Tottenham Green, with Sarah my trusty back-marker. Once on site, Laura got us to work on the garden and litter picking the green. Rudrajoy and Blanche tag-teamed Tottenham's discarded trash with precision. Ollie mastered the two pot watering technique, while Liam and Cathy expertly propped up plants with bamboo.

When all was said and done, it was time to say our goodbyes and gather on the Green for a fitness session.

A few burpees, press ups and crunches later, it was time for a Plank Off. The battle commence with 13 eager challengers. As people started to drop out, I jumped up to make sure the remaining challengers kept their hips in line.

Several minutes later and we were down to our final two: Wai and Liam. As they stared each other down, the intensity rose – with Liam hit by the shakes for the final minute. He held on though and in the end Wai conceded, crowing Liam this week's Plank Champion.

We then headed back to base for some stretching.

There is a mission this Saturday to help the Rainbow Trust. Sign up here. You'll be helping at a concert, so you'll be treated to some beautiful music.

Props to Ollie for this week's pun. See you next week when we run to Chestnuts Park. Sign up here
