On a cold, rainy Friday one Goodgymmer got out of the house to see Mr T (who would should start calling Mr Tech).

Mr T is in his 80s and has had visits from Goodgym Liverpool previously to help him get to grips with technology. Mr T had a list of 7 different IT tasks for me today, most of which we were able to tick off. Mr T wanted to practice his skills at getting the OTP (one time passcode) from the phone into his computer. He proudly told me that when 'the Scottish one' (Heetu) visited last time he managed to get it down to 8 seconds (impressive)! I text him pretend OTPs and he promptly got them typed into the computer. We also learnt how to make sure the screen is full, rather than half, make the font bigger on the computer and search on Google. Mr T also noted that his mobile phone didn't ring for long enough for him to answer, so with a bit of googling I managed to double the amount of time it will ring for.

Once I'd finished Mr T's list I checked if there was anything else he would like help with. He asked if I knew how to order things on Argos, and I showed him how straightforward this was. With ease Mr T ordered himself a new sleeping bag and chest freezer, so he is fully prepared for the winter ahead.

A pleasure as always Mr T!
