Tonight, David and I went along to Birmingham Central Foodbank to help sort through donations.

I got started with weighing the donations, whilst David and the foodbank volunteers sorted the weighed donations into their allocated trays/locations. I later joined in with this, before we moved on to labeling the donations by their use-by dates and sub-sorting them accordingly.

David found himself sorting through a mix of sweet donations, including custard (hence this week's pun) and a big bag of variety mix.

We managed to get through everything in good time and were soon on our way home.
