Ivy only and gone a done a runner bean
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Sunday, 15th of October 2017
Kim and I arrived at Ms C's with anticipation to see what the task would bring on the slightly breezy Sunday.
Ms C supplied us with shears, black bags and a cheery smile and we quickly got to work.
I got to work on deadheading the wilting flower pots whilst Kim got takling the very tall Ivy which had grown over from the garden next door and was tangled in the netting Ms C had put up to keep her cat in.
With a short break in between task, we got to hear some of Ms C's stories and very knowledgable hints/tips on the various flowers she was growning ( We felt a lot had been learned and can now assess what is a weed)
After the task, which was an hour and a half, we said our goodbyes to Ms C and proceed to have our usual run chat towards cafe breakfast.
