This evening, Juliet and I popped round to Mr S's to move some furniture, getting him one step closer to coming home from hospital.

Thanks to his neighbour M, who has been supporting him with different bits, there wasn't too much to do - on arrival Juliet and I took instructions and helped move bits about to create space for Mr S to come home in a couple of days. He's been in hospital for about three months, we heard, so we were glad to do our bit in making the living room he'll be recovering in a bit safer and more comfortable. Some items were moved into the next room, currently not being used, and others were rearranged to provide a clear space for Mr S to reach and use his furniture (as ever, I only just resisted the temptation to give the riser recliner a good test).
