Rupesh and myself arrived and introduced ourselves to Mrs M. We were shown round to the garden and set tasks of mowing the lawn, weeding and removing ivy from the borders as well as weeding and diigging over the rosebed out front.

We had a good selection of tools at our disposal and Rupesh set off on mowing duty while I tackled the ivy.

We swapped over half way through lawn cutting. Once completed we decided to give the full VIP manicure service of strimming and edging. A brief strimming lesson for Rupesh and before long we had an immaculate looking lawn.

Mrs M gave us both a drink and a little chat. She then presented us with a new hose reel set and connectors and asked if we had any clue how to set it up. We took to it like an episode of the crystal maze and before long had a fully functional, non-leakey hose. Mrs M was absolutely delighted.

We then headed to the front garden to tackle the rose bed. The ground was pretty dry so the weeds were putting up a good fight. After a little while of just pulling off the leaves, we went big guns and the fork came out, their time was over!

We cleaned up and put all the tools back. We had a farewell chat with Mrs M who was beaming. She gave us much thanks and a pat on the shoulder.

What a great way to spend a gloriously sunny Sunday morning... well until I found a parking ticket on my windscreen! :-0
