13 runners ran to help the Lydiard & Seven Fields parkrun VPR in Swindon. Week 32 of Swindon VPR, and we are still supporting each other every step of the way, every weekend. With a mixed bag of weather we faced a very cold autumnal Friday evening, the most horrendous Saturday with a deluge of rain that barely stopped all day, followed by a very fresh & sunny Sunday. GoodGym Swindon provided a mix of red, black & even angel wings T Shirted volunteers to support and encourage Swindon VPR with pacers and marshals throughout the weekend. It was great to see you all getting out there regardless of the weather. Following the disappointing news that real Park Run is once again on the back burner, the introduction of ‘buses’ last weekend provided a fantastic opportunity for bringing groups of up to 6 runners together to support each other and remain within government guidelines for reducing the spread of Coronavirus .
