One woman, her trug and a pair of secateurs battled against the odds (brambles) to win back the path surrounding Townhill Park Community Centre. There were lots of weeds, over grown bushes, brambles, and litter to remove from the fence line (plus quite a few toys poked through the fence by the preschool!). I lost count after two trug loads, but the resulting pile of garden waste was nearly 5’ 6” as I used myself to measure it! Lots of users of the community centre (local residents) stopped to say thank you and chat about what a big difference it made now everything was cut back. We hope to be back to the area soon to support with some other local projects.
