We were treated to a beautiful autumnal evening for our special Bank Holiday Kenyan Hills Training session. 7 Goodgymmers from all different boroughs joined us at the Emirates Stadium for a solid endurance workout!
Our crew started the session with a warm up (ankling, high knees, heel lifts, glutes and hamstrings), focusing on our key hill running muscles.
The workout was:
7 minutes hill running (ups and downs) at 60-70% or 1 hour effort level. 3 minutes recovery walking.
Repeat 3 times (21 min running, 9 min recovery)
Our team did a fantastic job with this session- some of our runners actually got faster towards the final rep- very impressive! Well done guys.
