Twas' a brisk spring morning when our two intrepid adventurers battled the gentle slope of Gloucester Road to arrive at a beautiful, hidden garden, as dense and overgrown as any Amazonian rainforest. The foliage was simply indescribable. Truly, there is nowhere like this on the Isle of Skye.

There were secateurs, there were spades, rakes, forks, loppers, saws, axes and gloves ... the quantity of tools on offer can only be described as "copious." There were also two very friendly cats ... Splodge and his / her grandmother, [insert cat name #2 here to win a prize].

In such a tranquil, green environment, the digging and weeding and chopping and raking practically did itself, as we sipped on piping hot ka fei. Patrick chatted with the woodlice and a small amphibian who was visiting from Cornwall for the weekend, while Charlene filled literally several bags with organic waste, all by herself.

Parting, as always, was such sweet sorrow, but we had managed to clear a nice space in this lovely garden and we've even been invited back for future missions! Charlene ran off to fill her rumbling tum-tum with delicious goodies, while Patrick cycled off to TCA aka 'The Foot Place.'

The End :)
