Just one day after Mr Corbyn's landslide victory in the Labour leadership race three GoodGymmers created a small landslide of their own in Mr Catchpole's garden and did a spot of manual labour.

Mr Catchpole has a great garden and enjoys maintaining it but is currently unable to do anything too strenuous. He called on goodgym last year and was happy to have a second visit.

One side has a steep bank and in the corner a huge tree means it gets very little sunlight and nothing seems to grow there.

Andy, John and I were told of Mr Catchpole's plans to create a couple of raised flat beds with borders to catch the soil rolling down the bank.

We focused on phase one. John and I first cleared the fallen leaves and then had alternate turns to loosen and reshape the soil and load up the wheelbarrow. On the other side of the garden Andy pulled up weeds to prepare for the wheelbarrow loads. In the end only one barrowload was useful. The other two loads contained a lot of rubble so were put out of sight in another corner.

In the background we had a general tidy up, raked and weeded to fill up the green waste bin and spread some mulch.

Mr Catchpole was very grateful for the help and was already planning phase two of his plan and desire to add some colour to the predominantly dark green foliage. We said GoodGym would be happy to help once he is ready to go. We politely declined an offer of tea and biscuits, said our goodbyes and went off to enjoy the rest of our sunny weekends.
