Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Claire Dunne
Tonight we were off to Narnia aka the British Heart Foundation (BHF) to see what they had in store for us in the stores!
Sam, Adam, Julie and Claire met at the Quaker for a warm up in the park and a run over the Hogsmill and round to BHF. We were joined by Jas, Tom and Doris and we were taken up to the stores.
Tonight we had to move desk pedestals in the lift to the shop floor and display them in the Last Chance Saloon, the bargain section and sort a jumble of electricals checking the for correct plugs and that they were saleable. Any items unsuitable for sale were to be sent off for recycling.
Adam and Sam got to work moving pedestals to the lift and delivering them to Julie and Claire who put them in a jaunty display. Meanwhile Jas, Tom and Doris sorted the electricals. They found a few gems including a games cube and some camera lenses which were put to one side to be sold separately.
It was amazing to see how much we had cleared in an hour and great to hear the camping display from our last visit sold out.
We finished the evening by heading off on a dusky run through Canbury Gardens back to the Quaker.
Thank you to Sam for run leading tonight.
Looking forward to flat back building back at BHF next week.
