Last litter pick of 2021
3 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Windsor and Maidenhead.
- Friday, 31st of December 2021
- Led by Windsor and Maidenhead runner
Juli, Kanika and Sheila met for a litter-picking stroll, as Sheila was keen to try out the new litter-picker Santa had brought her, and Juli had spotted some local streets in great need of a tidy-up. We headed off down Cordwallis Road, and by the time we reached the other end (a total distance of 500m) our bags were nearly full! On the way a lovely lady from the COOK shop came out and offered us hot drinks in appreciation of what we were doing! After a brief detour to dispose of our heavy bags (after the previous night's rain the soggy litter was so much heavier than usual) we continued on our circuit, and filled another bag each before heading home.
