Report written by Elizabeth Lees
The nights are drawing in and time for our Goodgym planters in Poole to be tidied up for winter. No doubt they had truly gone to seed but it didn’t take long to clear out the weeds, get rid of the discarded rubbish and prune back the remaining plants. The calendar might say it’s the Autumn Equinox but Poole basked in the evening sun and folk were sipping their drinks on the quay enjoying the live music and appreciative of the Goodgym efforts to keep the place looking good. By the time Esther and Liz had the garden waste ready for composting the sun had set and the lights were coming on. It is indeed the end of summer.
