at 8:30, Elizabeth and Rebecca met up for the volunteers briefing on a beautiful sunny morning at Lea Bridge park.

We were both on Marshall Duty so we donned hi vis and lanyards, and then headed down the hill for marshall points 3 and 4.

We cheered on 38 children as they ran, walked or skipped their way around the 2 km course.

The last two children were struggling a little so we dragged them up the hill with the marshall polls, which appeared to be sufficiently amusing that they had it in them to run the last section!

Thanks to the Run leaders and children for making a sunny sunday morning even better
