Tracey and I went to visit the wonderful people at Derbyshire Refugee Solidarity and had a rewarding time. We chatted to the refugees and helpers, and then joined in with the English lessons. In the process, we learned some Arabic, and heard the harrowing stories of how the refugees came to be here. It's heartwarming to be able to help at this valuable resource. They were very grateful for a pair of running shoes and an old mobile phone. If you have similar items, please consider donating them.
