After a big hill climb up to Odd Down, we helped deliver Sunday lunch from St James and St Phillip's Church to local residents who would ordinarily attend a free community meal at the church. The meal is a great way for those isolated to stay connected and feel cared for by the community. A member of the church had cooked all the lunches at home and four Goodgymers met up with her outside the church. It's been a while since we were able to get together with other Goodgym members face-to-face, so it was great to also catch up (from a 2m distance of course!) The lunches were handed out to us and we ran them to the vulnerable people who would normally come to the church once a month for a free social meal. After delivering our meals, we had a chat and wondered when we'll be able to re-start our normal Goodgym sessions which we are all missing! Let's ketchup soon.
