What a glorious Saturday morning in South London! ☀️

Having done two laps of Dulwich Park, I found myself waiting outside Bell House to welcome the GoodGymers who signed up for today's task!

Rachel showed up with a smile as she was up for today's task! It turned out this was her second GoodGym task after enjoying her first task two weeks' ago. After our introductions and not realising it was already 10:05, we ventured into the back gardens of Bell House to meet up with Andy.

Andy showed us to the task, which was to turn the compost heap over and get the good compact compost and soil at the bottom into wheelbarrows to take to the bog garden (which we filled in with sand last time). We were expected to dig a pond, but this would have to wait another time as the clay soil is still very hard!

During Andy's explanation, Pao showed up! Hoorrrayyy! As this was Pao's first ever GoodGym mission (and she almost didn't get out of bed for it....)!

We worked on the compost heap for an hour and a half, which zoomed by with the help of Pao's "no self respect" dating stories, our various adventures in life and navigating through the rollercoaster the year of 2020 in all aspects!

After the task, we were invited for a coffee with the other volunteers. We were offered and helped ourselves to their lovely produce (raspberries, tomatoes (of all shapes and sizes), small yellow courgettes and green beans). Andy was pleased with our contribution today and I'm sure it won't be long until we are back! 😊
