Its the last good deed of 2018 but the guys were in good spirit. We were heading off to Danson Youth Centre to prepare the area for the visiting reindeer this weekend. Tonight we had two groups heading to the task. Our walking team and our running team. I was looking after the walkers whilst Susan and Sarah looked after the runners...........

On arrival the walking team got all the equipment ready and in place for the arrival of the runners and it wasn't long before they started arriving. It was then straight to work with rakes and brooms clearing away dead leaves and rubbish. Let me tell you there was a lot of it too! After 5 or 6 trips to the skip the area really started to take shape and we started to feel a real sense of achievement, not only with the way tonights task was going but with what we had achieved through out the past year.

Guys i want to finish 2018 with a massive thank you to all of you for turning up every week and helping to create an awesome group. I want to give a special shout out the Susan and Sarah. You guys turn up week in and week out supporting and helping me, sometimes more than you probably know. I really appreciate it. To our Coach runners, man, you guys are really special. So to everyone that is involved with Goodgym Bexley both as volunteers and the brilliant organizations that we support every week, have a fabulous Christmas and we'll see you all in the New Year.............
