On the day before the first BFC session of 2024 AJ, Jo, and Mikhail tackled soggy lettuce, rebellious potatoes, and teetering boxes at Borough Food Cooperative with true gumption. AJ's quips sliced through the damp air sharper than a spud on the chopping block, while Jo's dry remarks about the limp lettuce echoed like a solemn bell in Borough. Mikhail, the silent sorter, maneuvered through the chaos with a stoicism rivaling the Queen's Guards. Together, they transformed a soggy situation into a neatly stacked triumph, in the face of any damp squib.

The food cooperative provides members with low cost food to help reduce food bills and tackle food insecurity. It also reuses surplus food to prevent food being thrown away.
