I haven’t been to see Mes E for a few weeks due to a stubborn cold which I didn’t want to pass on. Today we had a pleasant catch up, although she is finding her failing eyesight extremely distressing. We’ve tried audiobooks l, but for various reasons the CDs have been challenging, so now we’re doing large print and a magnifying glass. It’s sad to see her struggle, but she’s determined to keep reading and I will continue to support that.
