Adam, Anne, Ben and Holly met at Brookwood station on Wednesday night to complete our weekly good deed. Anne ran the 7 kms from the town centre and so did Adam, although at a faster pace.

Holly had acquired a big box of flower bulbs from SW rail and we started placing them in the three big planters on one of the platforms. Several railway workers asked what we were doing… Soon we had to switch our light -bulbs ;) on and carried on working on the front of the station: getting rid of the dead plants and planting more bulbs. We cannot wait for spring to see the flowers…

This weekend Adam and James will run the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday and Ben is running a 10 K in … southampton!. But big cheers for those three GoodGymers!

Next Wednesday we will celebrate 5 years of Woking GoodGym. We will meet at the Leisure Centre, run to the Food Bank and celebrate our group’s birthday somewhere in town. We hope as many of you will join us then.
