A Hot Bath

it was this evening for an 18 strong team on a 4k group run out to Royal Victoria Park to litter pick and rake over the sand around the play equipment. A change of plan on our original task which unfortunately had to be cancelled at short notice.

Welcome to Imogen

joining us for her first taste of Goodgym during warm up before settling off in the direction of Queen square. Eveyone enjoyed a few chances to

Squat 'cause it's Hot

Not so sure the speedy laps around the square whilst being cheered on by The boules teamsters, went down as easily but they did themselves proud and put max effort into it.

A final regroup before arriving at task destination, where the task tools were split amongst this eager team who worked for a good 35 minutes raking over the sand removing and litter and hazardous twigs. Becca even found treasure in the form of 50p...Whoop!!!

Great to see everyone chatting and getting to know each other whilst working away in the sand, they even managed a final push to litter pick the skatepark, this meant sacrificing the promised play time to get the job done.

We even ran out of time for an extra fitness session but never fear it's safely stored for another day...Ha!!

We made it back with 3 minutes to spare for a good old stretch and cool down.

Thanks to Pascale for back marking and to Joe for another punny pun.

Nice to have David along from GGBristol this evening.
