Three goodgymers ran approximately 6.5km to the River Sherbourne for our regular litter pick.
After warming up, we made our way out of the city centre via the historic London Road cemetery to the river. We meandered down the river and managed to fill two bags with take away wrappers, bottles and plastic. On our return journey, the sky put on a fantastic display for us as the sun went down. Make sure you dust off your headtorches ready for our next group run!
Welcome to the River Sherbourne Valley Living Landscape The scheme aims to reconnect the people of Coventry with the city’s river, restore the river for wildlife and complement the growing City of Culture programme linked to nature.
