Litter Pick Bingo
6 GoodGymers made their way 13.1km to help the Bournemouth Parks in Bournemouth.
- Thursday, 29th of April 2021
- Led by Bournemouth runner
6 of us gathered at the bottom of Horseshoe Common for a litter pick with an added incentive.
A bingo sheet!! Thanks to Olivia from GoodGym Ealing for her creativity and ingenuity!
We split off in pairs with a bag and sheet each trying to avoid the people hanging out in the shrubs and around the trees...not wanting to put them off their suspicious doings.
Kristina and Caprice took the path through the middle of the Common, Hannah and Laura forked off to the right and Daryl and I veered to the left.
After about an hour of rummaging and ultimately realising that the council had done a pretty good job of clearing the park we got together to tally our scores.
Hannah and Laura emerged victorious with 17 items from the list, Caprice and Kristina managed 16, and Daryl and I managed a respectable 14.
Lovely evening once again and we’re back out and about next week so please keep an eye on the website!
