I packed my litter pickers and a bunch of bags just in case the mood took me on my travels to the Harbottle Park / Urban Green Newcastle task.

I was pleased to see that UGN’s team were doing a fabulous job keeping on top so there wasn’t much at all.

However, there were a few things kicking about and I managed to fill a bin bag.

It was a brisk walk to and from Monument to Harbottle Park with a total of just under 9km in the bag (along with the rubbish).

The superman-esque red underpants were probably the most “interesting” find.
