Litter-picking in the drizzle
1 GoodGymer made their way to help the Great Salterns Preservation Society in Portsmouth.
- Sunday, 7th of July 2019
- Led by Judy Knapp
The meeting point of the Great Salterns litter-pick was deserted when I arrived, but I was soon joined by 2 dog-walkers who were keen to get on with the task. A Ward Councillor arrived but there were no other volunteers, so I decided to tackle the access road to the garages on the lower edge of Great Salterns. When my rubbish bag was full and my bucket of recyclables overflowing, I headed home after completing a hat-trick of weekend litter-picks, safe in the knowledge that there will be plenty more to collect on next week's Group Run!

Great job Judy. Especially for persevering in the damp weather :)
