Looking after our neighbourhood's flower planters via men's toilet...
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the London Borough of Redbridge in Redbridge.

We were very lucky with the weather as all the morning rain stopped and we had a lovely sunny weather to clean the planters by the hainault station - we picked out chewing gums, cigarette butts, a lighter and some pistachios! not too bad considering how public these planters are - people are getting more and more respectful and appreciate this blast of greenery and colour in the middle of a bare road with paved over gardens. We then watered and weeded the planters that were not getting the rain (as some are under the bridge and inside the station foyer) so they continue to grow.
Very exciting for spring bulbs to burst into flower soon hopefully!
P.S The photo of us is in the station's men's toilet.... This is the only water point that the station manager kindly allows us to use but we do have to knock and announce 'Women are coming in' quite loudly when we do.... :)
