I don't know about 'love is in the air' but there was a definite Drizzle in the air for tonight's 5k group run for 10 out to the children's play park at Royal Victoria Park to rake the sand back around play equipment making it safe for those little people during the school holidays.

A group circle warm up and headcount before making the relatively short run upwardly (the hard way) to Royal Victoria Park but aren't we very lucky in Bath to have such a beautiful city to run around and those hills make for good training. Well done Joe on your night race at the weekend and Lydia at Two Tunnels series.

Our task on arrival was to split into Two groups raking away at the sand around the play equipment and picking up any litter left lying around after a busy school holiday. Helen and Tom enjoyed filling in the mini digger holes with a bit of jousting for the picture. Joe was on fire with every Glove pun going shame I needed a rake in there .. ha!! We gave the final 10 minutes to litter pick the skate park and not disappointed with the amount of litter here (we actually filled two bags) nice hoard.

Our group photo was an action packed skateboarding copy of Dark Necessities by Red Hot Chilli Peppers (in my mind I think) and increasingly difficult with the revolving light from The Great Escape.
A tiny bit of trail 😀before heading back to the leisure centre for a nice stretch.

Thanks Pascale for back marking and to moi for tonight's pun.

Don't forget to bring your ID next week if you wish to be paired up so let's make it happen. Next weeks group run shouldn't be missed it's a flat run https://www.goodgym.org/happenings/action-and-n-hearing-loss-need-our-help

Quiz social is just around the corner on Thursday 23rd Feb at The Boater for 8pm start.
