Today was a busy morning at the Baby Bank, sorting clothes and making sure they are of good enough quality for handing out to families in need. It seems that many people had used the half-term break to sort out their kids' clothes, so the donations were coming in thick and fast. As soon as we removed one carrier bag from the travel cot for sorting, another 2 seemed to take it's place. It's great that there is a good supply of donations, but sad that so much is needed

Providing essentials to families in extreme need

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
