4 GoodGymers braved the cold for a lunch time plog along the canal to help out the Canal and River Trust clean up a section of the tow path.
Lunch time pick me up!
Within minutes it seemed we'd found the favourite area for people throwing their cans of beer, gin and plenty of vodka and rum bottles - must have been some party! After picking up 4 bags worth of litter, we decided we'd done as much as we could for the day, and just in time as the rain started!
Plog of the centurions
Today's plog was a pretty special one, as 2 Ealing GoodGymers completed their 100th deed!! Perhaps all the bottles were in celebration of this mighty fine achievement!
Canals and rivers are a world away from every day. They’re free, open spaces we can all enjoy - and it’s our job at the Trust to keep them that way.
