It was an extremely humid night for the GG crew today, but fortunately the forecast thunderstorms stayed away!

We headed to Oasis Foundry School with David doing the front marking duties and Rob the back. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Megan and a gentleman from the Wildlife Trust, but of course the most exciting thing for the group was to see the Al Pacca’s back! Tonight’s task was to throw some hay around the wildlife area, this was to help improve the diversity of flowers in the grass as explained by Jake from the Wildlife Trust. Half the group did the hay throwing, the other half drew some pictures and messages on small rocks which were then hid in the wildlife area, for the children to find. While all this was going on, we didn’t just have the Alpacca’s as the only furry company, the local ginger and white cat was also pleased to see us...well me especially!

Anyway once done we had a few more pictures then we headed back to 1000 Trades, this time doubling the distance, going along the canal, all the way up to St Paul’s square before heading back to our base. That was virtually 8k in total, top work team!

Next week we will be out doing good again, it would be great if you could join us sign up here.
