I am not an early riser but with Sunny Hill parkrun so close to home, it would be silly not to check it out. For the marshalling duty I directed runners and cheered them on. It seems like the runners really appreciated it with plenty of thank yous as they ran past. It was great seeing Paul S and Paul D there too, who I then met with for a coffee. I would definitely recommend volunteering if you have any free time on your hands on a Saturday morning!
