Pre-shift chat as we waited for the van this morning included Alice's recent jury service and her signing up to some bonkers Ultra race in Cornwall, with tips of experience from Roz, as well as a curious discussion about running gear and Mel's penchant for pastel shades as she approvingly eyed up my teal coloured rain jacket, whilst being clad herself in a "warm aubergine" number (apparently!). Top marks though went to Alice who despite suggesting that she was not in the least colour co-ordinated, had got this mornings predominantly black outfit spot on. Nice!

With the van arriving late, Zdeni was an all action blur as she moved as many duvets and mattresses into the church as the rest of us put together before dashing off to work and therefore, alas, missing the group shot before we departed.

Top work peeps and I've definitely got to rethink my outfit for Friday's mattress mission!
