Mrs C and her elderly father have been depressed about the state of their overgrown garden for some time. Stepping up to the plate this fine Sunday afternoon were Andy (root 'Destroyer' extraordinaire) and Karen ('Scissorhands') who set about shearing and hacking the unruly grass and roots into submission, laughing in the face of those fancy power tools... pah!!!

They soon discovered a selection of children's toys hidden under the thick carpet of grass including a just about distinguishable Wheely-bug bumble bee (not a hoover as Karen first thought!) and the GG'ers wistfully summised how they had missed out on this particular treat during their childhood (aaaw!)

After an hour or so of full body workout the GG'ers had the garden looking in tip-top shape, with the children's swing moved to the side so Mrs C and her father would have a much nicer view out to their garden which would hopefully lift their spirits.

Andy and Karen high-fived on a job well-done and headed off home towards the river, with Andy sprinting ahead leaving Karen to ponder the random Stormtrooper protecting the sleepy Galactic Empire of Barnes... it seems the force had indeed been with the GG'ers in this quiet, leafy corner of SW London... who knew???
