The weather held out for a lovely little jaunt to Waterloo City Farm, and there were some pretty incredible milestones achieved at this task, as well as a dive in at the deep end for two newbies to community missions!

The folks over at Waterloo City Farm needed some helping hands with various tasks today, so some of the team from the GoodGym HQ headed down to meet with other GoodGym members to get well and truly stuck in.

I can safely say that this was one of the most fun things I've done when in the vicinity of piles and piles of manure. However, I was lucky enough to be delegated to a different task and I can assure you there were no complaints from me.

Whilst some people helped out by literally climbing into the large boxes of manure and compost to help turn it over and clear it, the more fortunate of us helped to shift hay bales, take down some Christmas decorations from the barn and pull up pesky weeds that were causing a nuisance along the perimeter of the farm.

A massive congratulations has to go to Liv for completing her 200th good deed with GoodGym! This is an incredible achievement and shows how dedicated Liv is when it comes to helping people in and around her community.

Another big milestone and cheer goes to Mr Ed Field for hitting his 50th good deed with GoodGym! As my stand in chuckle brother for our task at the mission today, height is clearly not an indicator of a person's ability to achieve great things!

Today was also the first time that Rosie and Rich (that's me) completed a community mission, and we had a blast whilst doing so!

And last but by no means least, a big happy birthday to Sam, I'm sure you would have been utterly miserable if you spent your birthday doing anything else!

The highlight for me was meeting a gaggle of geese, and one goose in particular, who just so happened to be called Ryan Gosling. Honk!

Thanks for the birthday message and wishes! I wouldn't have enjoyed my birthday half as much without a good lunch break helping out a local urban farm 😊
