Mission Impossible!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Baffins Pond Association in Portsmouth.

The rain had stopped, there were some stars twinkling and Mel and Maxine were at the Baffins Pond Association to take a sleigh ride out with Father Christmas, visiting the surrounding streets to collect money for the Association and dole out lolly pops to the children. After getting our ID sorted, high vis on, and Father Christmas safely into the Sleigh, off we went down the path and heading towards the road. Suddenly, the lights went out and the music stopped! There followed some scratching of heads and pulling about of wires for the next 20 minutes before finally accepting defeat. The power pack had died and we weren't going anywhere! With much disappointment all round, we had to cancel the evening, and all troop back to base with the promise of a cuppa which proved to be a bit of a challenge when we struggled to find the key to let us back in! It was a bit 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me In Here', but eventually the right key was found and the Urn fired up. Leaving Father Christmas all dressed up and nowhere to go! But be sure, that by Monday, the power will be back, lights and music working ready to get out and try again.
