On a rather wet Sunday morning, we got to work on Ms R's large back garden, which needed some general tidying up. First task was to collect lots of rubbish that had accumulated at the back of the garden and in the side borders. Then, undeterred by lack of lawnmower, we set about trimming the long areas of grass on the lawn with some garden shears, pulling up weeds and raking the grass. After some brushing of the path and pulling up some weeds on the patio we had accumulated two bags of rubbish and a bag of green waste and had made the garden look tidier for Ms R.
