Marta and I arrived at Mrs M.'s house and she welcomed us into her garden. This had become very wild and overgrown since she had been unwell, meaning we both had our work cut out! Despite the limited tools available we got cracking straight away with pulling up weeds, trimming shrubs and chopping back the thick brambles .

Despite some ominous looking black clouds we were very lucky that the rain held off for the whole mission, which certainly made the job a bit easier and more pleasant!

After an hour had flown by, the garden was looking much neater and tidier. We had trimmed back the borders and managed to clear the path from Mrs M.'s back door to the patio seating area and to the shed. This will give her a much nicer view to look out on, and it should make moving around the garden easier for her when she is feeling well enough.
