Report written by Darryl Chamberlain
Blue skies and big smiles for a lunchtime mission in east Greenwich, and a pleasure to welcome Leo from GG Tower Hamlets and Jenny from GG Lambeth to join Alex and Darryl in giving the outside areas at More2Nurseries a little spruce-up. They've got the mayor of Greenwich popping in for a visit tomorrow, so it was a good idea to get the place looking its best.
There was weeding and planting to be done at the front, which Leo and Jenny quickly got stuck into. Alex took charge of sweeping the play area at the back, while Darryl wielded a paintbrush to turn a shelf a fetching shade of green. Plus there was some jet washing action too. Everything goes better with a jet washer.
More2Nurseries is a group run favourite (not least because of its pet snail, Sid) so it'll be good to return there en masse soon. For now, though, it was a treat to see some familiar faces again and get some work done in the sun.

Love the report, Darryl! And you're so right, everything is that bit brighter and lovelier with a jet washer. Excluding furry and shaky dogs...
