I ran down to Streatham in very different weather for this second mission to see Mrs B - last time it was so foggy I could hardly see across the common, but this time the sun was shining and the daffodils were out - definitely starting to feel like spring. Mrs B wanted the garden to have a bit of a 'spring clean', including mowing the grass which had got quite long. Mark set to work mowing the lawn and trimming the edges, while I did some weeding. Mark also demonstrated his strong man skills hammering a paving slab in half to make a tidier bin area at the front of the garden. Finally we put all the tools away and oiled the squeaking hinges of the garage door, before having a much-appreciated cup of tea and a biscuit with Mrs B inside. Mission accomplished!
