Mr beeften vs the cook: Book, cased & sorted
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Sunday, 7th of January 2018
Sunday = Runday & what better way to start it than to assist the happiest man, Mr J, in the packing of the largest (library worth) collection of books myself and Emma had seen.
Mr J arrived with widest smile and happy greeting to put anyone he met in a great mood. After introducing us to Mr biddens (His adorable cat he nicknamed Mr beeftens as he was more turkey shaped than cat), we got to work on taking books from book cases & into boxes provided for later moving to his new home next week.
After an hours work & many topics discussed on how Mr J loved to cook (we counted 10 different cookbooks), we all left wishing Mr biddens a good day & Mr J fond farewell & all the best in his new home (with less stairs).
