Mrs. D's story this week
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Windsor and Maidenhead.

Today was my 3rd visit to see Mrs. D. and she's told me about her impressions of her visit to America. First think is that everything is big! ... including meals and people and roads... She was told that she should not run when crossing the road. But then how could one get from one side to the other in one piece??... She wanted to talk to a cowboy but the only one she saw while there was in the process of buying a gun. So she refused point blank. Instead, she talked to two nice policemen and had photos taken with them. I asked if they had guns... she didn't notice or care at that point, which was fine. And then they went to the circus, and somehow she ended up with a big box of doughnuts, which she endeavoured to try give away and then eat her way through the rest, best she could! 🍩🍩🍩 And the circus was structured such that spectators would move from one act to another, which seemed like a good idea. I am assuming it was a bit like the 'work stations' Amy organised for us last Wednesday! Looking forward to the next time.
