Report written by Harvey Gallagher (he/him)
What a lovely sunny evening it was! Some of us ran, some walked but we all met at the William Hobbayne Community Gardens. This a great community project of allotments in Hanwell near the Grand Union Canal. Our task was to shift soil into three new beds where children will learn how plants grow. The beds will be named after those who have given time and care over the years. So, we huffed and we puffed and we got stuck in! Many hands indeed made light work. A final layer of top soil and the job was done! Great stuff GoodGym (and a special welcome to Lesley on her first task)!
The William Hobbayne Charity supports a variety of different projects around the Hanwell area. The tasks we can do for them vary depending on the needs across these projects.
