Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
It was a cold and foggy Sunday morning in the woods outside of Bath. Thanks to all of the recent wet weather the ground was suitably boggy and slippery ready for the inaugural Mud Bath event. Our team of Goodgymers signed up for the challenge and arrived eager to take on the cross country course.
The course did not disappoint and provided slips, spills and face plants. There were streams to splash through, bogs trying to suck your shoes off and the climb out of the valley was so slippy that when you tried to run fast you looked like Carlton from the Fresh Prince doing the running man! I am very happy to say that everyone made it around successfully, and most importantly, without any major incidents. In fact the main slip was from Goodgym Bath's leader Steph who decided to self impose a face plant into the mud! Here is a Strava Flyby of how a few of us got on.
Thanks everyone for coming along, it was a great success and we hope to see you all at our next (less muddy) events at 5k Chipping Sodbury Parkun on Saturday February 13th and the Tyntesfield 10k on the Sunday 28th February. These are both free events so that's even more reason to come along!
