It was a session of lots of mini jobs at the SHP allotment today, so even though Linda forgot the strimmer...she remembered the battery though 🤦🏼‍♀️ there was plenty to get on with. 1st job was to empty our kitchen waste into the compost bin. Due to a change of plan the clients did not attend this week which meant Ed was able to be a late sign up and he started with scraping moss off the shed roof. Peter assessed what needed to be done to put up the new sign but that has to be left until next week as it was not yet painted so he got on with some weeding. We also marked out a boarder to show the local fly tippers that the area next to the shed is in use. While Linda did the painting the boys were busy unearthing buried treasures including an ancient wheelbarrow from the brambles, a Jurassic Park lunchbox complete with fossilised sandwich crusts and a rather battered handle bar bag. Ever industrious Peter then went off to complete a litter pick mission. It was an hour well spent.
